Why can't I download my badge yet?

The badges, which serve as both admission tickets and name tags, are being carefully prepared. They contain additional links for services and are therefore still being updated.

The person who placed the order will receive an email as soon as the badges are available for download. If the participant's email address has been entered, they will also receive this information.

FAQ – Sales tax on admission tickets

Why is German sales tax charged on my conference or exhibition ticket even though my company is based abroad?

Admission tickets to trade conferences and exhibitions are considered admission to events for sales tax purposes. The place of performance is legally where the event actually takes place.

Since the event is held in Germany, the ticket price is subject to German sales tax (currently 19%) – regardless of where the ticket purchaser is based.

The reverse charge procedure does not apply.

Companies based outside the EU can reclaim the German sales tax paid from the German tax authorities via the input tax refund procedure for third-country companies.
