Social media - tips, tricks and tales from Europeana’s experts

Social media might be something you do from time to time, you scroll and occasionally like or comment on something - or it might be the focus of your professional role as you plan and deliver strategic campaigns. It can be great fun - and it can be challenging too. As a professional, how do you navigate this complicated world and look after yourself at the same time? Join social media experts from within the Europeana Foundation and its network to discover tales, tips and tricks with social media. We’ll explore how to find and manage your social media identity. Are you posting for yourself, for your organisation, or both? How do you differentiate between these identities? We’ll workshop how to create content, using March’s Women’s History Month as our inspiration, helping you put together some real content to schedule and post once the workshop is over. And we’ll share our experience in moderating comments from the public. They’re not always nice, so what do you do about it, and how do you take care of your own wellbeing? Join us for a fun and interactive session that’ll give you plenty to think about, activities to do on the day, and next steps to take away with you.
