The Twin it! Cafés (online) aim to provide hands-on support to Twin it! national contact points, Europeana National Aggregators as well as domain aggregators and other colleagues involved in the Twin it! campaign. The Cafés will provide a dedicated platform to ask questions, share doubts, concerns, and find practical and immediate solutions and answers to queries in relation to Phase 2 of the Twin it! campaign, which foresees the 3D modelling, metadata and paradata creation and publication of 3D material in Europeana, running until 1 February 2024.

The ultimate goal of the Twin it! Cafés is to support capacity-building in 3D publication, and empower participants to fully and timely contribute to Twin it!. The Cafés are upon invitation only.

This Café will focus on Licencing and legal issues, based on the Recommendations for 3D material ingestion developed in the framework of the Twin it! campaign.

Some of the topics that will be discussed are:

• Licensing of 3D models: choosing among the 14 options that Europeana works with
  
• Facilitating reuse conditions
  
• Legal or contractual challenges

This Café will be delivered by Ariadna Matas, Policy Advisor at the Europeana Foundation and Andrea Wallace, Associate Professor at the University of Exeter Law School and member of the Europeana Copyright community.
