Mariana Brasil was born in Salvador - BA, Brazil.

Started to dance in 2012, focusing in the Itaúnas style (Roots).

Started as a teacher in Balanço Nordestino Forró School in 2017.

Since then, she has lead Forró workshops in several events in Brazil.

In her EuroTours, in 2018, 2019 and 2022, she had the opportunity to teach in 9 countries and 27 cities of the old continent.

Was part of the team of teachers of Forrozeando School of Forró; coordinated the Aprenda Roots project, Só para Elas project and Online Forró Classes, focused on individual dance techniques to Forró, as well specific classes with technique for Roots Style.

Nowadays, teaches in her hometown, focusing in Roots style dance technique, musicality and leading/following technique.

She believes in building consciousness, technique and body and mind willingness in its plenitude to artistically express oneself within the dance.
