The Media BarCamp Erfurt is a participatory conference for media professionals, experts, and anyone interested in media in Thuringia. You design the program yourself – from VR in schools to storytelling in journalism or film to innovative cultural offerings.

Schedule (on both days):
- 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.: Joint breakfast
- 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.: Official start with welcome & session planning
- 11:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Sessions with lunch break

NEW this year: The MENT MasterClasses: Six moderated panel discussions on topics from the MENT Position Paper 2025:
Saturday:
-11:30 am-12:15pm: What intergenerational media education has to do with democracy: Impulses for Thuringia as a media location
-12:30pm-1:15pm: From team events to part-time jobs: What well-trained media professionals really want
-2:30pm-3:15pm: The 3 percent problem, or needs, opportunities, and potential for a strong production landscape in Thuringia
Sunday:
-11:30 am-12:15pm: Local journalism as a high-quality news source: Quo Vadis, Thuringia?
-12:30pm-1:15pm: Economical, diverse, interactive: What potential games offer for Thuringia as a media location – and how we can exploit it
-2:30pm-3:15pm: Children's media? We can do it! Ideas for implementing the location strategy for Thuringia as a children's media location

KidsCamp:
We offer childcare for toddlers aged 1–4 and media education for children aged 5–14, including some highlights from the KiKA program.
