Registration Rules

Code of Conduct and Privacy Policy

• When you register to participate in the 2026 European Rosetta Conference, you must agree to adhere to the Rosetta Commons Code of Conduct as well as the Privacy Notice.

Registration Fees and Cancelation Policy

• You can register any number of people with one order. The order email will be sent to the main email address provided and the ticket to the email specified within each tickets required email field.

• The conference is open to everyone. However if you are a member of Rosetta Commons or of the Portuguese Biophysical Society, special pricing applies.

• Tickets and extra activity fees are NOT refundable after 31/08/2026.

• Upon placing your order, a reference code (for example, “2026-TICKETS-30ZLJ”) will be generated. If you intend to pay for your registrations via bank transfer please include this code in the payment description when you make your payment.

• After making the payment via bank transfer, please send the payment confirmation to conference@europeanrosettacon.org, with the reference code as the Subject.

Travel Grant Applications

• You may submit your application to a travel grant during your registration process, where you will need to provide a motivation letter in .pdf format (maximum 300 words)

• Deadline for travel grant applications is 31/05 (inclusive)

Extra Activities

• During your registration, you will be asked if you would like to join the Gala Conference Dinner as well as the Guided tours prepared for attendees. Participants may only partake in one of the guided tours, as they will occur at the same time in different locations.

• Each activity incurs an extra cost to your ticket price. The conference dinner must be paid at the time of your registration, while the tour tickets will be paid at a later date after registrations for the conference have been closed.

  • Gala Conference Dinner (29ᵗʰ October): 35€ (payment upon registration)
  • Belém Tour (30ᵗʰ October): 15€ - 30€ (payment after registrations are closed)
  • Alfama Tour (30ᵗʰ October): 15€ - 30€ (payment after registrations are closed)
  • Bairro Alto Tour (30ᵗʰ October): 15€ - 30€ (payment after registrations are closed)
  • Mouraria Tour (30ᵗʰ October): 15€ - 30€ (payment after registrations are closed)

Abstract Submission

• During the registration process you will be asked to submit an abstract for a poster or a selected talk. Talks will be chosen on a rolling basis.

• Please note that it is not possible to modify an abstract in any way, once it has been submitted. Every detail, including the order of the names of the authors, should be checked before the abstract is submitted.

• Please use the abstract word template.

Visa Letter Requirement

• You will also be able to request a visa letter during your registration.
