In Simhachalam, hundreds of devotees gather to chant kirtan, fast, hear Krishna katha and honor the Lord’s lila through a grand festival.

Giving charity (dāna) on Janmastami is especially auspicious (shubha) and spiritually uplifting. Even if you cannot attend personally, your dāna becomes your seva – offered directly to Krishna on His birthday.
