OPENING CELEBRATIONS: Battle in collaboration with the OPEN YOUR MIND community
We launch this year’s festival with an evening in collaboration with OPEN YOUR MIND: Dancers, bring your technical skills, your thoughtful gestures, your abstract states, and your brave hearts! We will mix styles, music and surprise prompts in a spirit of dance celebration. Winner takes home a residency at LAKE Studios Berlin. Dive in!
Guests can expect to witness 2-3 hours of high velocity dance battling!
Entrance is 10 euros!
MR KRISS
Kristián “Mr. Kriss” Mensa is a Prague-based dancer, choreographer, actor and visual artist known for merging breaking with experimental and contemporary styles.
With over 18 years of experience, he has worked with artists such as Kylie Minogue, Hania Rani, and Ai Weiwei and collaborated with platforms and brands including Cercle, Louis Vuitton, WWF, Greenpeace, and Adidas Originals. His multidisciplinary work spans dance, illustration, and animation, seamlessly blending elegance, creativity, and visual poetry.
He is the organiser of KoresponDance Battle, the only experimental dance battle of its kind in the Czech Republic, and regularly hosts dance workshops worldwide, helping people connect more deeply to their bodies through movement.
Featured in the documentary Mr. Kriss (2021) by Adolf Zika, he has been recognized by Forbes’ “30 Under 30” and awarded a Silver Medal from the Czech Senate for “youthful determination and inspiration.”

Open Your Mind (OYM), originally founded 2013 Moscow, Russia, is an experimental dance platform, celebrating creativity in movement all around the world.
