Double Bill: Isu Kim Lee & Analu + Mehdi Dahkan
A Double Bill*
FIRST PERFORMANCE- 20h
Isu Kim Lee & Analu
'Miri Né Sori' translates to “Milky Way sound” in Korean. In the Pan-asian myth “The Cowherd and the Weaver”, appear two lovers who are separated by the Milky Way on opposite ends of the sky. They can meet only once a year by way of a bridge made of magpie birds. Starting from this (im)possibility of achieving the state of completeness, Miri Né Sori explores the encounter of different voices stemming from two bodies that constantly elude identifications. The overlapping voices become the wave that oscillates between the inexpressive (such as counting) and the expressive (such as humming and screaming), and travels across the borders of (mis)identifications.

BIOS
Isu Mignon Mignonne is the performance persona of Isu (it/its), an artist based in Berlin. 'Mignonne' here doesn't stand for 'cute' in French but for 'crazy bitch (미친년) in Korean. Influenced by queer subcultures and the club kid community, Isu likes to play between subtlety and extremity.
Analu (he/him/they/them) is a nonbinary~transmasc~dykefairy, meme lover and gay advocate currently based in berlin. he sees himself as an artistic all-runner, ranging through a medley of visual mediums that seem to continuously increase. for the past years analu’s work has been shifting abruptly, highly focusing on their embodied experience as a trans(mutated) body. through these experiences, transness, fantasy, sexuality, sensuality and care have been in the center of his inspirations and creations. as an expression of radical love and of community, they keep wishing for more togetherness and embracement as a reflection of interdependent societies.
SECOND PERFORMANCE- 21h
Mehdi Dahkan
'Kms OF RESISTANC'E explores the breath as a trigger for movement, rhythm and interdependence. Inspired by the Moroccan tradition of Aïta, where the breath serves as both a musical and physical guide, this piece explores the body's instinctive responses to changes in breathing rhythm, creating a dynamic interplay between what happens internally and what is seen externally.
