Where do I sign up for workshops?
When will I receive my Programming information?
- The Programming Committee will be emailing everyone their Programming information but the date is TBD. We will update accordingly.
- If you do not receive an email a week before U-19, please email conference.programming@unavsa.org.
When should I arrive for my workshop session?
- Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the start of your session! A staff member will be marking attendance for the session to make sure everyone is where they’re supposed to be.
- If you are not in the right session, staff will redirect you to the correct location. Please email conference.programming@unavsa.org if you have any issues during this time.
What happens if my session goes over time?
- Sessions will not run any longer than 10 minutes past their end time. Ideally all sessions will end on time but we understand that some discussions may run over.
- Feel free to reach out to your presenter(s) through email following the session if you want to continue any dialogue/discourse.
What are the general expectations that Programming has for me?
- Be on time to the session! We ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your session begins.
- Respect the presenter and other participants/attendees at all times. (Silence notifications, minimize noise/distractions, etc.)
- We recommend business casual attire, unless the workshop presenter requests otherwise.
- Be engaged! Ask questions, join in conversations, and actively participate in your workshop sessions!
What if I can’t attend the workshop session times due to emergencies?
- Please contact the Programming Staff email: conference.programming@unavsa.org as soon as you are aware of the emergency.
- You should also notify your Family Leader as well. Staff will do their best to accommodate.
