Comic Concert with Pianist Itay Dvori.
The Luisenbad Library invites you to a special comic concert with pianist Itay Dvori to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
Drawings, speech bubbles, sounds – all these elements come together in the comic concert to form a "new genre" (DeutschlandradioKultur). The partly composed and partly improvised musical scores combine with the simultaneously projected images and texts of the comics and graphic novels to create a synesthetic experience for the audience and listeners.
The musical element not only provides background music, but also plays an equal role to the graphic element. In this way, the composer and pianist Itay Dvori creates a completely new and unique form of expression.
The Luisenbad Library opened on November 1, 1995, at Badstraße 39.
Admission is free. Advance registration is welcome via Pretix. Space is limited.
