Compose your own generative graphics without writing a single line of code and let your computer do what it is good at: randomness and repetition. After you set up your data flow program with the visual programming environment vvvv (gamma), lean back and see how your visuals grow in real time. Export these 2D or 3D interactive generativegraphics as movies or animated vector files.
We will be using vvvv (version gamma) for the workshop as it offers an inuitive visual approach to handle algorithms without the need of writing any code.

Who is it for?
This workshop is for creative coders, students, media artists and designers, who are interested in using computational techniques in their own practice.

Your hosts:
Joreg (vvvv group co-founder and developer)

Anton Mezhiborski (vvvv group, master of tutorials and help patches)

You will learn how to:
- Work with the visual programming environment vvvv (gamma)
- Apply the principles of condidion, repetition and randomness
- Generate patterns mimicing nature,...
- Map data from one range to another
- Create 2d graphics and animations
- Export graphics to .svg and .pdf
