Take your wood working skills for a spin on this beginner friendly herb planter workshop. Over the course of two sessions, participants will build on the skills learned in Wood Tools 1 to make a window herb planter for 6 pots featuring lap joints, a edges profiled with the router, and evenly drilled holes.
Learning Outcomes:
- Practice repeatable, safe cuts on the table saw
- Learn various joinery techniques including cutting dado’s to create lap joints
- Advance your table saw knowledge with dado cuts, and the cross-cut sled
- Practice using the drill press, the table router, and various sanding methods to finish your planter
