Master Rust Programming in Ghent

Rust is a safe and performant programming language. Join a intensive 7-week Rust lecture series designed for hobbyists and engineers with a good grasp of software basics. Experience with compiled languages (C, Go, Haskell, etc.) is recommended. Learn from an industry professional who's applied Rust in robotics/microbiology and vehicle systems.

What you'll master:
- Pattern matching, traits, and generics
- Functional programming with closures
- Ownership, borrowing, and lifetimes
- Advanced memory management
- Code organization and testing
- Concurrency and error handling

In-depth topics (depending on interest):
- Embedded with micro-controllers
- Low-level asynchronous primitives

Course Details:
- 7 weekly in-person sessions, 2 hours each (usually Tuesdays)
- Theory and practice with live coding demonstrations
- Small groups (10-15 participants) for personalized attention
- Flexible learning: guided exercises or work on your own Rust projects
- Cozy venue close to the city center of Ghent (Belgium)
- Taught in English (unless all participants speak Dutch)
