Los Cafres was formed in 1987 in Buenos Aires and is one of the founding bands of Latin American reggae. In 1994 the band recorded their first album: "Frecuencia Cafre", a break in the history of Argentine reggae, as it became the first conceived by a local band entirely in the vein of "roots reggae", it was also the first in Spanish that is registered worldwide.
