Come and explore the beautiful "Skärgård" of Göteborg with ESN Göteborg!😀

Join us for a trip to the southern archipelago with a 6 km hike and winter BBQ! For the ones who can't get enough from Nordic dips and viking challenges, can also dip in the ocean. With some sun hopefully shining bright and not too cold temperatures, you can enjoy a beautiful winter day out on the island -with incredible views, a good stretch for your legs and a salty ocean breeze.⛵🌊 🥰
Meet ESN Göteborg at the fountain at Järntorget and buy a Västtrafik ticket for zone A (the 90 minutes validity will be sufficient to reach the island from the city centre).
If you live already closer to Saltholmen, you can also meet us there. But be on time, the ferry won’t wait for anyone.
We are planning to take the ferry around 12:00 lunch time from Saltholmen to Vrångö. 🏝️ Students will be split in smaller groups for the hike. In the end we all gather at the beach and have bonfire with the option to do some BBQ. ESN will take care of having a nice fire, but food must be brought from everyone for their own.
Note: We are doing the BBQ in the swedish style, it's an open fire and if you want to roast sausages or marshmallows, you should either bring a wooden stick for grilling your food or any other helpful equipment. Otherwise, you are also welcome to bring any food for a normal picnic with you.

🎒🥯 Be prepared! pack yourself:
-food for a BBQ or a picnic on the islands
- hot drinks for yourself are heaven after sometime on the islands
- equipment to prepare your food for the BBQ
-an extra jumper and winter jacket -it will be windy
- for the brave ones: a towel and & swim gear for an optional ocean dip 🥳
