Anne Cattagni is the Head of research at the Violence medicine unit (VMU) of the University center of legal medicine (CURML) at the Lausanne university hospital in Switzerland (CHUV). The VMU is a clinical forensic unit which offers consultation to adult victims of interpersonal violence. There, she has been conducting research on domestic violence. The experience of mothers and children from their own viewpoints has been at the center of her work. She will be presenting results of the study on the Experience, resources and needs of children exposed to intimate partner violence. The presentation will notably include an analysis of the roles children may assume in such a family context.
