Kriá Ferrari- Choreographing Periphery (WT)
Choreographing Periphery is a solo performance - or rather, a duet with two melting blocks of ice - that investigates the relation between center and periphery. Moving between maintenance and destruction, glory and violence, the work deploys vandalism as an artistic strategy to challenge embodied dominant narratives and disrupt the systems that operate to maintain them.
Choreographing Periphery è una solo performance - o piuttosto un duetto con due blocchi di ghiaccio - che indaga il rapporto tra centro e periferia.
Muovendosi tra manutenzione e distruzione, gloria e violenza, il progetto utilizza il vandalismo come strategia artistica per mettere in discussione le narrazioni dominanti e sconvolgere i sistemi che operano per mantenerle.

Kriá is a choreographer, performer and artist researcher based in Berlin. Their works interact with expanded fields of improvisation, choreography, sculpture, and writing. Their artistic work engages with questions around periphery, class structures and vandalism.
