KatArctic is a non-profit art collective founded in the spring of 2024 by a group of creative souls from Malmö who share a love for music 🎶, dancing 💃, and community.
Frustrated by the shrinking underground alternative scene in Malmö, we decided to create something new—a welcoming platform for sharing music, dance, and joy.
Our journey began in Malmö’s parks, where we organized three unforgettable open-air events filled with warmth, connection, fun, and love ❤️. Last month, we finally found our dream space in Malmö and hosted a magical event 'underground'.
KatArctic’s mission is to create a space for free-flowing artistic expression, for ourselves and the amazing friends we’ve made along the way. A place where everyone feels creative, connected, and always welcome.

🗼THE LIGHTHOUSE 🗼
The Lighthouse is a community space in Copenhagen—a sanctuary for Burners, built on the Burning Man principles. Please read them before attending the event:

Inside, you’ll find a dance floor, bar, and chill-out area. Outside, there’s a cozy fireplace. A self-service wardrobe will be set up at the entrance, and no jackets or shoes will be allowed inside.
All profit from the event will be donated to The Lighthouse.

DONATION BAR
There will be a donation bar, meaning no commercial transactions at the event. Bring your favorite drinks to gift to the bar, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and our volunteers will serve the donated drinks throughout the night, free of charge.
