The return of the large herbivores

Klaus Hackländer, Sebastian Brackhane
Reading and discussion

Elk, bison, aurochs and water buffalo - the large herbivores are returning to us, either naturally or through nature conservation projects. Forest scientist Sebastian Brackhane and wildlife biologist Klaus Hackländer talk about the history, present and future of these animals in Europe's industrialised areas. Is there enough space for them? What could the coexistence of humans and large animals look like? A current stocktaking, a guide and an outlook.

Admission: €8 incl. entry to the exhibition, registration from mid-April via Botschaft der Wildtiere.

Where does the event happen? Wildlife Embassy, Lucy-Borchardt-Straße 2, 20457 Hamburg
