Author and expedition leader Birgit Lutz has been travelling Svalbard for 16 years. She introduces her audience to the island's history, extreme landscape and diverse wildlife. She involves the audience in a research project. And she repeatedly reports on the magic of the unique landscape, a landscape that is facing fundamental changes in times of climate change and the political situation.
