Between metropolis and wilderness. Reports from "Niemandland"

Gerhard Trommer: "Niemandland" - Experiences of nature between metropolis and wilderness.
Reading and discussion, chaired by: Astrid Kaminski and Stefanie Porath-Walsh

Wilderness, this American concept and reality, is the point of reference for Gerhard Trommer's descriptions of walks and hikes in Patagonia, the USA and Norway. The experience of solitude, loneliness in nature and a unique perception of nature outside the usual spheres of life in the metropolises is the subject of his writing. He talks about this in his reading from "Niemandland", about the describable experience of the wilderness and the border to indescribability. Gerhard Trommer is a biologist and environmental educator and looks forward to talking to the audience.
