Under the direction of Adrian Emans, the multi-award-winning Neue Kammerchor Berlin will focus on the creative possibilities and limitations of artificial intelligence in this exploratory concert evening. The centerpiece is a world premiere written by AI, which opens up new sound perspectives. The program also includes works by Whitacre, Gottwald, Buchenberg, and Hamilton that deal with technological and social upheavals. Some of these are interwoven and enriched sonically by theremin, synthesizer, bass, and percussion. This creates surprising timbres and new listening experiences. Before the concert, AI expert Alex Vaughan will give insights into the opportunities, limitations, and perspectives of AI in the music industry in a panel discussion. An evening that uniquely combines tradition, experimentation, and innovation.
