In 2022 the Open Data Hub started the process of actualization of its architecture. The goals of the project are:

• improve and simplify the inbound APIs by offering different ways to provide data to the Open Data Hub;
• store the raw data provided by each data provider before processing and store it in the Data Marts;
• improve the performance of the entire system.

During this Software Developers' Thursday Chrstian Roggia, Co-funder of Animeshon, will present the PoC of the new architecture that has been developed and all technologies (e.g., Apache Camel, Mosquitto, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) that has been considered, tested and used. In the final part of the event we will be happy to discuss with all participant about the choices we did, interesting project and solution and possible optimizations we should consider.
