In 2020, Dance>Money Growing Markets (un)conference addresses the ones with whom we share recent histories and challenges. We turn to experienced performing arts professionals from Central, Eastern, South Eastern Europe and Baltic countries. Towards ones who have tried to negotiate and navigate the presiding market until the pandemic levelled it to the ground.
Lectures, discussions and hangouts will connect venue programmers, festival and conference curators, agents, consultants, changemakers, students, artists. We need to talk about dancing and surviving, about survival in our field. We will face each other on 18 and 19 June in the Museum of Architecture and Design in Ljubljana. To develop international cooperation, cultivate markets and create a future full of dance.
