SWEAT. A Musclical

Installation by Rimini Protokoll (Daniel Wetzel)

Who composes? Who plays? And on what? At Radialsystem, the theatre label Rimini Protokoll reimagines these questions with SWEAT. A Musclical—in a playful and thought-provoking way. Their proposal: fitness machines—borrowed from the world of physical self-optimization—become musical instruments on stage. The concert evening SWEAT. Songs of Push and Pull features pieces composed by multidisciplinary artists Güner Künier, Brigitta Muntendorf, Schneider TM, Sophia Wind, and Wooly Aziz for this new group of instruments.
