13 CODE OF CONDUCT

Code of Conduct

#accCGN26 is a cosmopolitan space for learning, sharing, and connecting. We are committed to creating an environment where everyone feels safe, welcome, and respected. We are committed to change.

By participating, you agree to contribute to this atmosphere.

========

What We Care About

Respect

Treat each other with respect. Disagreement is welcome — personal attacks are not.

Assume Good Intent

Most people are here to learn and contribute. Start from trust, not suspicion.

Inclusion

We welcome people of all backgrounds, identities, and experience levels. Diversity makes this camp better.

Make Space

Follow the principle: “Take space, make space. ”Be mindful of how much you speak — and help others be heard.

Be Constructive

Challenge ideas, not people. Give feedback in a way that helps others grow.

Be Aware of Your Impact

Your words and actions matter. If someone feels hurt, listen, reflect, and adjust.

Non-Commercial Space

#accCGN26 is a sales-free environment.

- No pitching, marketing, or selling

- No hidden agendas or lead generation

- Share experiences and tools — for learning, not promotion

========

What’s Not OK

- Harassment, discrimination, or exclusion

- Insults, intimidation, or personal attacks

- Offensive or harmful language or behaviour

- Unwanted physical or verbal interaction

- Disrupting sessions or dominating discussions

- Repeated self-promotion or marketing

If Something Happens
  • Speak up if you feel safe to do so

  • We handle concerns confidentially and with care

Consequences

If this Code of Conduct is not respected, we may:

  • Ask for a change in behaviour
  • Give a warning or

Final Thought

We’re all here to learn. Be kind. Be curious. Be respectful. Help each other grow.

We are here to make things better — and to stay viable and relevant, together.
