Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations and requests for 100% refunds will be accepted until February 8, 2022. For cancellations after this date we will withhold a 20% cancellation fee for purchased standard and student tickets as well as a 50% cancellation fee for purchased bootcamp or combinatorial tickets. The transfer of purchased tickets to other persons participating instead of the buyer will be accepted until February 18, 2022.

Participant registration:

We process contact data that you provide during the registration process for the purpose of managing participants. Your personal data will always be processed only to the extent necessary to fulfill the respective purpose. If at all, we only disclose your data to third parties in order to fulfill a purpose underlying the respective processing.

To process your event registration, we use a processor. The ticket shop “pretix” is a service provided by “rami.io Software development, Raphael Michel, Markgräfler Straße 16, 69126 Heidelberg, Germany”. This service is embedded on our website through a JavaScript widget. If you use the ticket shop, pretix will use cookies to make your purchase process possible and to remember which tickets are in your cart. This cookie will only be set once you start interacting with the pretix widget. pretix does not store any IP addresses, browser information or other unnecessary meta data beyond the timeframe of your transaction. Payment service provider:

The "Mollie" payment service is integrated into the ticket store for the processing of payments. “Mollie” is no processor, but an independent data controller “Mollie B.V. ; Keizersgracht 126, 1015 CW Amsterdam, the Netherlands” who collects your data within the scope of payment processing. When making a payment in the ticket shop, you can decide whether you want to use this service. If you do not wish to do so, payment can also be made by bank transfer/wire.

Virtual sessions and processing of personal data by "Zoom”

The sec4dev 2022 takes place on site. However, some conference sessions will be presented via live Zoom sessions. Virtual conference sessions are an appropriate means to invite specific speakers that would otherwise not be able to participate.

We do not use Zoom as a processor and do not disclose or transfer any personal data to Zoom.

Participants do not need to register with Zoom to access the sessions!

We do not pass on any data to Zoom. The link to the sessions will be accessible via a password protected page on our sec4dev website.

However, when participating in sessions, Zoom may collect and process personal data. Please refer to the Zoom data protection and legal information at the Zoom Trust Center for more specific information.

Photography, Audio and Video Recordings

Video footage and/or screenshots/photos will be taken during the conference/event, which may or may not include your recognizable image. Please be advised that by taking part in this event you grant SBA Research gGmbH the full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images in print, digital or web -based formats for promotional, sponsoring and archival purposes. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in printed and online publicity, social media, press releases and funding applications. If you do not wish to have us use your image, please notify a member of our organization team prior to the event or ad hoc during the event in an accountable manner.

This conference is supported by sponsors. Company names and a count of participants per company may be communicated to the sponsors. No personal information will be shared.
