Amsterdam Day Trip – Zaandam + Amsterdam

On Saturday, 25 October 2025, we’re heading out together to explore two sides of Dutch life:
– The colorful windmills and wooden houses of Zaandam
– The canals, bikes, museums, and café life of Amsterdam

This isn’t just a trip. It’s a postcard come alive, and a chance to share a day with friends (old and new).

You’ll laugh with strangers who might become your travel buddies.
You’ll have hours in Amsterdam to make the city your own — museums, stroopwafels, canals, bikes, or just wandering.

Together at the start. Free to explore. Meet again at the end.

The Plan

• Morning departure from Kamp-Lintfort (main campus)
• Second pick-up in Kleve (for students + those connecting from Kleve/Krefeld/etc)
• Quick stop in Zaandam for photos & Dutch charm
• Then a long generous stay in Amsterdam (orientation walk + free time)
• Evening return to Kleve & Kamp-Lintfort

Exact times + maps will be shared in our WhatsApp group for registered students.

Price

€45 – student price
Cost-sharing only (bus costs). This is a non-profit student trip — organized by students, for students.

Tickets are listed as €0 online.
After reserving your seat here, please bring €45 in cash to one of our Lounge Tuesday meetings to confirm your place.

We’ve set it up this way to keep things simple, fair, and transparent
— no hidden fees, no business middlemen, just us organizing a shared trip together.

It’s our first time travelling as one community, so the idea is to meet, see who’s coming, and make this feel like a shared adventure right from the start.

You’ll have up to one week after reserving to complete your payment.
Reservations that are still pending after that time will be automatically cancelled to free up seats for others.

If you’re joining us from further place e.g. Kleve, etc... and can’t attend a Lounge meeting, don’t worry we’re flexible.

🔄 Refunds

• Trip tickets are non-refundable once booked.
• Full refund if the trip is cancelled by us.
• Can’t come? You can transfer your ticket to another student up to 24h before departure.
• If we don’t reach the minimum number of students, 100% of your payment is refunded.

Trips only go ahead if enough students join in time. The earlier you book, the more secure the trip becomes — and the less chance you miss out on a seat.
