Intro to Sewing Workshop
🧵✨ Sewing Workshop with Marwa — Chill, Create, Repair ✨🧵
Ever thought “I wish I could fix this” or “how are clothes even made?” but never got the chance to find out?
Well, this is that chance 🧷🪡 Whether you’re completely new to sewing or have stitched a little before, this is your space to slow down, learn something new, and do it in good company 💜
Marwa studied right here at HSRW, and now she creates her own fashion and sells custom pieces across borders 🌍
She’s coming back to campus to share her story, her skills, and a bit of that creative spark with us ... and honestly? We’re so lucky to have her ✨🫶
We’ll cover the basics in a cozy 2-hour session:
- How to thread a needle 🪡
- Hand sewing & using a sewing machine 🧵
- The essentials of mending, fixing, and repurposing ♻️
Bring a piece of clothing you want to fix or flip or just bring yourself.
No pressure, no experience, just a chill space to try things out and maybe discover a new side of yourself.
