CRISIS (at work) - Kasia Wolińska

This workshop will share simple tools for individual and collective analysis of the ongoing crises faced by cultural workers, aiming to strengthen self-advocacy and the ability to give oneself credit—and a break. Together, we’ll map our relationship to work, how it shapes our identity and place in the world, and connect this to systemic conditions influencing “success” in the art field. The workshop draws from methods developed for AG Work Culture (2021–23) and my current research on work politics in the performing arts. It offers tools for critical reflection, collective exchange, and empowerment through a deeper understanding of the art world within the neoliberal market. Open to all dance-field professionals, regardless of role or experience level. The workshop will be held in English, with space for questions in German. Please bring a notebook and pen.

The workshop will be held in spoken English, questions in spoken German are no problem.
