What does it take to finally open that Finanzamt letter? Write to your ex? Book that flight you’ve been avoiding? Briefschmerz invites participants into an experimental, performative space where procrastination meets playful sub/dom dynamics. Together, we explore how the everyday, the somatic, and the performative collide to tackle lingering tasks.
This is neither therapy nor a simple productivity hack, but a co-created performance – a temporary coworking space where participants embody roles of subs and doms to negotiate power, care, and the seductive dance of avoidance, rooted in consent. Briefschmerz asks: What if procrastination became a stage for empowering, pleasurable experimentation?

The workshop will be held in spoken English, questions in spoken German are no problem.

Team Briefschmerz is Simo Vassinen and Frida Giulia Franceschini, artists and facilitators.
Simo fantasised for years about having Frida domming him to do his taxes. Together, they bring a wealth of shared and overlapping experience from performance, hosting, intimacy coordination, sex work, and bodywork to this workshop format. This format emerged from their overlapping practices, bridging the conceptual and the somatic, the absurd and the intimate.
