We appreciate your interest in our event!
Mittweida University of Applied Sciences is inviting students, staff and lecturers to a joint tree-planting campaign. This campaign aims to actively contribute to environmental protection and bind CO2. This initiative is organized by EURECA-PRO and RE-EURECA-PRO and supported by Volksbank Mittweida and Sachsenforst.

We have around 1000 saplings that need to be planted on this day, so we can use all the support we can get. For this purpose, equipment and expertise will be provided by Sachsenforst. We will also have warm food and drinks available.

Here is some important information, because we have big plans:

Our planting campaign starts on March 19, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. at the area between the Rossau sports field and the Mittweida reservoir on Rossauer Straße.

Please remember to dress for the weather and wear robust shoes or rubber boots.

There are bus shuttles that run every 30 minutes from the cafeteria in Mittweida to the forest area and back (journey time approx. 10 minutes)
As places are limited, this ticket tool is used to register participants in advance. The first bus leaves at 09:30am.

If it is possible for you to make your own journey, you can also indicate this so that we can also keep an overview of this. You are also welcome to form carpools.
