Welcome to Wikimedia Hackathon 2024 registration! By following the registration process, you will be able to book your (free!) ticket for the Hackathon, and optionally to apply for a scholarship.

The Wikimedia Hackathon is organized by the Wikimedia Foundation and is taking place in person in Tallinn, Estonia, from May 3rd to May 5th, 2024. It is a primarily onsite event: people who cannot be onsite will be able to follow some of the content online but should not register with this form.

The event is free of charge. Onsite, you can expect that catering will be provided. Participants are expected to book their travel arrangements on their own. However, WMF is offering to take care of travel and accommodation for a selection of scholars – you will be able to apply for a scholarship during this registration process.

The information that you provide while filling out this form will not be shared publicly and will only be accessed by the Hackathon coordination team (WMF staff), and in case you apply for a scholarship, by the scholarship committee. The registration and scholarship application form runs with Pretix, an open source third-party service, which may subject it to additional terms.
