Yugen Trio: 'Painting Schubert' at Berlin's Kühlhaus
Yugen Trio presents the premiere of its latest project, the multidisciplinary show 'Painting Schubert' at the iconic Kühlhaus Berlin.
Yugen trio explores the relationship between painting and music based on one of the most emblematic works of the Romantic Music: Schubert's Second Trio for Cello and Piano in E flat major, op. 100, to enhance artistic expression with the intervience of an actor actor and a painter together with the trio on stage.
Following the plot of the performance-like event, our protagonist Franz Schubert tales in a monologue form about the events of a XVIII's Wien's evening, where artists of all kinds meet, exchange ideas and showcase their work and talents. He shares his thoughts with the painter, who responds and shares them interacts with him. The Yugen Trio represents the music, which takes place in the mind of the protagonist, as well as merges words, corporal language and visual arts in a art-totalle experience.
Through this experience, audience will gain an insight into get the creative process of an artist and experience, like our life experiences, ours in general to be an entire species, to influence this process.
