Queere Kiez Walks
What happens when you combine cabaret and audio walks? A circus walk!
In the “Queere Kiez Walks” project, we aim to bring East Berlin’s queer cultural memory to life. Using archival materials and historical research, we’ve compiled historical events and figures from the city’s history, which we’ll present to you in the form of colorful drag and circus performances.
Reaching the stops requires a roughly 15-minute walk (outdoors). Please wear appropriate clothing!
Spots are limited to 30 per day and require advance registration. If your plans change, please cancel your ticket so that the spot can be made available to someone else. Please pay attention to the location when booking—2 tours take place in Pankow, and 2 take place in Lichtenberg.
