BAM! is the festival of Berlin's independent music theatre scene. It focuses on Berlin's international scene of music theater practitioners working outside the traditional opera form and on the variety and diversity of expression in dealing with present day issues.

Over the course of just a few days, BAM! once again presents a packed programme within a tightly confined area of closely connected venues and invites you to an immersive experience that combines music theatre with urban space.

„Where do we go from here?” is the question the festival wants to ask this year. Where do we go, and where does music theatre go within all the concerns of these troubled times?
