Telling the Bees is a project by artist Stef Veldhuis in which an archival space inside Zone2Source is connected directly to a bee colony in the Amstelpark. Together with a group of beekeepers, the artist cares for the bees, which in turn dictate the climate conditions within the archive. Stef Veldhuis invites the public to join one of these moments of care, where the colony will be visited collectively. Afterward, the artist will engage in a conversation with Maia Kenney about the project, biological and technological information networks and relations between art and more than human agencies.
