4RUDE is a Berlin-based theatre and Butoh company founded in 2005 by Maco and Hikaru Inagawa. The company consists of two founders and two additional fixed members.

The performance begins at sunset. As daylight fades, spaces emerge from shadows and artificial light. The changing light becomes part of the performance.
In a present characterised by increasing instability and contradictory realities, the piece asks how a body can endure when certainties crumble.
Sehpurpur draws on the physical practice of Butoh to create a space between perception and dissolution. Gravity, breath, silence and precise control shape the body and its movement.
