This is for you: An Introduction to Linux and open-source at UCL

In this workshop, we will provide a brief overview of open-source initiatives at UCL and explain how these connect with the topic of sustainability. We will also give an introduction to Linux and common open-source software.

In the second half of the session participants are invited to try out Linux risk-free.
Optional: if you have a laptop that you would like to convert to Linux, please bring the device and its charger, plus a blank USB stick with at least 8GB of space. We will guide you through the installation process and assist with issues should they arise.
