On 16 November 2026, the Europeana Network Association (ENA) will hold its 2026 General Assembly meeting. We will engage in discussions around the strategic interests of ENA, the Europeana Initiative, and the common European data space for cultural heritage as a whole. The participation of our members is greatly welcome and appreciated.

The meeting will provide a great opportunity for ENA members to learn more about and discuss prominent themes and trends in the data space such as the public AI and the role of the AI in the network, and connected heritage and decolonisation of collections.

The two-hour event will take place online and will be moderated by the ENA Management Board. The Assembly will be proposed to adopt major changes to the ENA governance, and to formally approve annual ENA reports. The meeting will launch the official 2026 Members Council elections and online voting.

The programme will include:

• Insights on the most recent developments around the public AI and the role of the AI in the Network, and topics such as connected heritage and decolonisation of collections
• Approval of the formal ENA documents (annual and financial reports)
• Preliminary approval of changes proposed to be made to the ENA Statutes
• Launch of the 2026 Members Council elections and voting
