3 Legal requirements

The legal requirements arise from the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz – BFSG), in particular Section 14 in conjunction with Section 3 (1) BFSG with reference to the Ordinance on the Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsverordnung – BFSGV).

4 Fulfilment of accessibility requirements:

The following standards and guidelines were applied in meeting the accessibility requirements of this ticket shop:
• Harmonised European Standard (EN) 301 549, version 3.2.1
• Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), version 2.2, levels A and AA
Our offering is based on standardised software for ticket shops. The manufacturer of this software has optimised it with the support of experts in digital accessibility and has subjected it to an independent external accessibility test on the basis of examples. The manufacturer also regularly carries out further internal automated or manual tests.
When configuring the software for the implementation of our ticket shop, we followed the manufacturer’s recommendations in order to achieve an accessible result.
Specifically, the ticket shop fulfils the requirements, among other things, through the following measures:
• The ticket shop is clearly structured and contains informative and logically structured headings and labels. Links are clearly recognisable and labelled in a meaningful way.
• You can use this ticket shop with assistive technologies, such as screen readers, without loss of information.
• You can use and operate the ticket shop with an external keyboard. This works for all areas and functions. Navigation follows a logical order. When you select interactive elements such as links or buttons using the keyboard, they are clearly highlighted visually (focus indicator).
• Texts and visual content have clearly recognisable contrasts. The presentation (e.g. font sizes) can be adjusted via the settings in your browser and/or operating system. All content is accessible without relying on colour alone, and there are text alternatives for users with impaired vision.
• Our ticket shop works in different orientations. You can use your screen in both landscape and portrait mode. The display of areas, content and functions automatically adjusts.
• The use of our ticket shop does not require hearing or speech abilities.
• If completing a booking is subject to a time limit, this will be announced in good time. You can then extend the time limit.
• The ticket shop has been designed to help you avoid errors and correct errors.
• Using the ticket shop does not require complex, path-based or simultaneous movements.
• The ticket shop does not contain light or flashing effects that could trigger photosensitive seizures.
If you would like to give us feedback on the accessibility of our ticket shop, please contact us using the contact details provided above under “Information about the provider”.
