Open Level Workshop with Luisa Conti:
Dance as a conversation.
Partner dance is not a monologue! Instead, it is a beautiful conversation happening between two bodies that are moving to the same music. Whether you are a leader or a follower, in this workshop you will improve both your body’s ‘listening’ and ‘speaking’ skills. This workshop is intended for dancers that have at least a base knowledge of Forró (not suitable for absolute beginners). Advanced dancers will also benefit from this workshop.
Communicative and playful dancing, teaching under a philosophy of gender and role equality, our Munique Dança Forró teacher LUISA CONTI will make sure we improve our dancing. Luisa grew up in Mexico, where she experimented with different couple dances. She started dancing forró in 2013 in Rome, and she has been passionate about it ever since. She started teaching and organizing events three years ago, specializing in forró Roots and always improving her repertoire and didactics in both follower and leader roles.
