This Architecture Day tour will visit works of art that shape the cityscape and yet are often overlooked. Art not only decorates buildings, but helps us understand how the city was thought, seen and built. With a special focus on the architecture-related art of the GDR, we move from Schlossplatz along Leipziger Straße to trace the artistic traces of the city's history.
The tour starts at the Staatsratsgebäude (today ESMT - European School of Management and Technology Berlin), Schloßplatz 1 and ends in front of the Embassy of the Czech Republic at Wilhelmstraße 44.
