Workshop on curating and programming a film cycle.
(Online on 17-18 July 2021)

Do you like cinema? Want to learn some basic ideas on how to prepare a film programme under a theme? In what order to screen films, how to bring together different perspectives on a theme are some of the topics we will cover in this two-day workshop.

But we don't want to stay with theory, we also want to have practical experiences. We want to gather a group of programmers and curators to create a summer film programme that focuses on untold stories to give visibility to underrepresented communities.

How many film heroes do you know who are women? How many who are not white? How many who are in wheelchairs? These are questions we want to ask ourselves and respond to creatively by choosing films that tell stories we don't often see on our screens.

Participation in the workshop is free and joining the group of curators and programmers is optional. If you want the experience of being part of a group preparing an outdoor film programme for this summer with professional guidance, register for the workshop. Places are limited.
