TEA. PEOPLE. STORIES
Your tea journey starts here — from origin and culture to conversation.
This workshop begins as a masterclass-style presentation and gradually transforms into an intimate one-on-one tea conversation space. Tea becomes both subject and medium: a way to learn, to listen, and to connect. Think of it as a tea roulette, where stories are shared cup by cup.
Hosted by Hikayat, the session explores the origins of tea, the different types of tea, and how they are produced, woven together with personal stories, cultural context, and lived experiences. Tea is approached not only as a beverage, but as a cultural ritual that connects people across the world.
What you’ll do:
• Take part in a visual masterclass presentation covering tea origins, tea types, and production methods.
• Learn how culture, geography, and human stories shape the teas we drink.
• Move into a shared tea space designed for calm, accessible interaction.
• Rotate through short, one-on-one tea conversations, exchanging stories and reflections over tea.
• Experience a surprise element woven into the session.
Outcome:
Participants leave with a clear understanding of tea origins, tea types, and production processes, alongside a lived experience of tea as a tool for storytelling and human connection. The session offers both practical tea knowledge and a renewed appreciation of tea as a shared ritual.
