This online workshop is the first in a series of three. It serves to built a theoretical basis. Marc Melcher will introduce us in the history and significance of the concept ot toxic masculinity. From here he will take us to the practical working field of critical boy's work. Participants will get a basic understanding of the effects of hegemonic masculinity and about how they show in the hierarchies inbetween goups of boys. The workshop also allows an entry into the field of gender-reflected education with boys, concidering critically the underlying power relations. Marc Melcher will be approaching the matter by giving examples from his experiences in this field from the last decades.
