Fabian Bernhardt in conversation with Omar Kasmani

The films we watch, the books we read, the songs we listen to are full of it. But what is this thing called love? What do the forms in which we love reveal about the social orders in which we live? And what does love have to do with bodies, with sex, and language, faith, intimacy, and transcendence? Philosopher Fabian Bernhardt discusses these questions with anthropologist and writer Omar Kasmani. Kasmani writes about love, desire, and intimacy, about migration, queerness, and religion, and about the diverse and sometimes precarious ways in which people come close to one another.
