2014/2015: “Omega” with a different title was actually supposed to be the next album by the Marburg band Amber. However, as the singer at the time simply left the band two days before the studio date, they were tired of another new beginning under the old name and let the band die. The end. Omega. But the beginning was near. In spring 2015, Yanos entered the stage of this world with their debut album “Omega”: darker, heavier, less “core” and more “metal”. Death and the resulting transformation have been thematic constants in the band's oeuvre ever since. 10 years, gone like the blink of an eye or a deep breath. This weekend, the band wants to review this period together with other exciting representatives of their stylistic roots - from hardcore to black and progressive metal to psychedelic doom - and celebrate their continued existence.
