🌀 Who is it for?

Complete beginners who want to discover hair suspension and experience hanging for the first time. Also for those who have tried it before but don't yet hang with confidence.

Requirements:

• ✅ good body awareness and regular physical activity
• ✅ hair at least shoulder-length

1. The hair-knot – find a healthy way for you to make it
2. Body prep – warm-up and preparation for hair suspension practice
3. Tzina's methodology – exercises built over years to understand the practice
4. Movement qualities – ways to move while hanging
5. The classics – the all-time classic bendy moves, broken down step by step
6. Spinning – spins in the air with different entries

👩‍🎤 About Tzina

Tzina began her circus studies in Barcelona, went on to physical theatre school, and later completed a Master's in Circus at Stockholm University of the Arts. She also holds a Bachelor's and a Master's in pedagogy, plus certifications in physical theatre, yoga and aerial yoga.

She has been researching hair hanging since 2021. Her research, "Releasing the Hair Hanger", focuses on the hair hanger's body in relation to space. It brought new body qualities, different rigging approaches, and a new connection between the performer, her discipline and her surroundings.

She has taught aerial disciplines and yoga since 2014, and for the last three years she has run hair hanging workshops for beginners and advanced students. She has performed at CircusMania, Attention Festival and in the Veszprém European Capital of Culture programme. Creating hybrid performances that blend circus, dance, physical expression, music, theatre and technology is what she loves most.
